I purchased two of these reusable coffee mugs recently and they’re fantastic. I wanted something that I can throw in my bag or car and not worry about breaking them and they are perfect. They do not alter that taste of the coffee at all. The lids seal well and it comes in standard cafe coffee cup sizes. Baristas so far have had no issues with them at all and have been impressed with them. I’ve also contacted TerraCycle and confirmed with their manager that these silicone coffee cups are indeed recycled at the end of their life. I highly recommend these OnYa cups to anyone!

Especially loved the coffee cup and I have a slight coffee cup addiction looking for the elusive best one, so to find one I really like speaks volumes! It is well insulated, I especially appreciate the mouthpiece is the same as a disposal cup, it’s pliable so will squish in my handbag. Only downfall is that the mouthpiece isn’t sealable but that’s a small trade off for all the other great qualities.
I used the sandwich wrap at the deli and loved my water waste reduction effort there.
I wish the produce bags didn’t come with their own bag; I thought this wasteful and unnecessary when they can just be stored in one of the bags themselves.
Overall, really happy with my purchases and will be recommending them.

Unfortunately just the downside is there is a bit of a smell from the material and the open spout makes it difficult to transport the cup around unless you have finished your drink.

we LOVE these cups. Have been using them for the past 4 years and going strong. We often get stopped and asked where we bought them – the only issue is that most baristas struggle with the lid. We go to the same place fairly often so he now knows how to do it, but if its a new place we often just get the cup without a lid back.

I love that it is lightweight and not breakable, so it stays in my bag ready to be used. You can also use it for ice cream instead of getting it in a plastic cup, and I guess you could also put soup or hot chips in it, to save some more plastic.

After watching ‘war on waste’ on the ABC earlier this year, I was shocked to think about all the coffee cups (even the biocups) going straight into landfill. The silicone cup is great to shove into your bag and keeps your coffee hot! There is no likelihood of it ever cracking or rusting so I think I will be using the cup for many years to come. Very very happy with my onya 12oz cup. My everyday large flat white fits the cup perfectly … and my cafe is more than happy to make my brew in it. I was worried that on first try I might not like how my coffee tasted in the silicone cup … I’ve tried other materials like a hard plastic, stainless steel etc & not been happy at all. My only criticism would be that the diameter of the inner circular recess on the top of the lid isn’t wide enough to nestle the bottom of another cup, so as to carry them one on top of each other, to do things like freeing up a hand to open a door or some such.
Fortunately, the properties of silicone means there’s enough friction for the one balancing top, not to slide off too easy.
Still, it’s a second of concentration ya need to split up between jiggling yer keyring, or swipecard. (maybe esp. when yer hung over…)

My husband wanted the smaller cup, but it didn’t come with a black lid and you had to order the lid as an extra if you wanted it in black (instead of standard white), so now we have two lids and one cup which is a bit of a waste. The cup itself is great though and my husband loves it. Please offer a choice next time as it’s a waste to have something included that you don’t want or need, as lovely and polite that you were about it.
